Admission Overview
Enrollment Criteria
Franklin D. Roosevelt H-TECH at Dallas College – Cedar Valley Campus is designed to serve incoming ninth-grade students who demonstrate a strong commitment to academic success and college readiness. Ideal candidates include students who are:
- Determined to attend college
- First-generation college students
- Historically underrepresented in higher education
The academy accepts up to 125 ninth-grade students each year. Students progress together as a cohort, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment throughout their high school journey.
During ninth and tenth grade, students attend classes at Roosevelt High School in a dedicated wing of the campus. In their junior and senior years, instruction takes place at the Cedar Valley Campus.
Transportation is provided at no cost. Students are required to ride the designated bus between Roosevelt High School and Cedar Valley Campus daily.
